    ANTANANARIVO (21st FIBA Africa Championship for Women) – Angola Wednesday further put the aspiration of having a comfortable finish in group-B in check with a 60-45 points victory.

    Angola picked the first, second and fourth quarters (14-08, 16-10 and 23-06) leaving Nigeria with the third quarter of 21-07.

    Angola Luisa Tomas led the floor with 14 points and 5 rebounds while golden girl Nassecela Mauricio added 11 points and 8 rebounds.

    Nigeria forward, Rashidat Sadiq led her team with 11 points and 6 rebounds with Funmilayo Ojelabi contributing 10 points.

    The lose to Angola , the third in group-B by the former Africa champion thus confine the team to the fourth place in the group with a possible quarter-final pairing against Senegal on Friday.
