SAN JUAN (Puerto Rico) – The draw ceremony for the FIBA AmeriCup 2021 took place on Tuesday at the historic Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Present at the Draw were Mayor of San Juan Mrs. Carmen Yulin Cruz, Executive Director of FIBA Americas Mr. Carlos Alves, FIBA Americas Vice-President Ms. Michelle O'Keefe, FIBA Americas Past-President and current Treasurer Mr. Usie Richards, Puerto Rican Basketball Federation President Mr. Yum Ramos, future FIBA Hall of Fame inductee Jose “Piculin” Ortiz, historic Panamanian player Rolando Frazer, and historic Puerto Rican coach Flor Melendez.

Group B: Brazil, Uruguay, Panama, Paraguay
Group C: Cuba, Canada, Dominican Republic, Virgin Islands

The FIBA AmeriCup 2021 Qualifiers will feature the participation of Argentina, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, USA, Venezuela and the Virgin Islands.
The FIBA AmeriCup 2021 Qualifiers will begin on February 2020 and will qualify the top 12 teams to the FIBA AmeriCup 2021.
FIBA
