    Mexico City will host the FIBA U18 Women's Americas Championship 2018

    SAN JUAN (FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship 2018) – Mexico City will host the FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship 2018, from August 1-7 in the Gimnasio Olimpico Juan de la Barrera.

    SAN JUAN (FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship 2018) – The International Basketball Federation of the Americas announced Mexico City will host the FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship 2018, from August 1-7 in the Gimnasio Olimpico Juan de la Barrera.

    The FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship will feature:
    Argentina
    Canada
    Chile
    Colombia
    El Salvador
    Puerto Rico
    USA
    Host – Mexico

    “Mexico City is a historical host city for our sport in the Americas and it brings us great satisfaction to announce it as the home of the FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship 2018, our premier continental youth event. We are confident it will serve as a great showcase for the future stars of Women’s Basketball in our zone and will provide an unforgettable experience for all participating basketball stakeholders attending the event."  said Mr. Usie Richards FIBA Americas President.

    The FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship will qualify the top four teams to the FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2019.
