    Official Draw of the FIBA U18 Americas Championship set for March 20

    The FIBA U18 Americas Championship will be played in St Catharines, Canada, June 10-16.

    SAN JUAN (FIBA U18 Americas Championship) - The International Basketball Federation in the Americas announced that the Official Draw for the FIBA U18 Americas Championship 2018 will take place on Tuesday, March 20.

    The Draw will be held in FIBA Americas Regional Office at 16:00 (GMT-4), and broadcasted on FIBA’s YouTube Channel.

    The FIBA U18 Americas Championship will be played in St Catharines, Canada, June 10-16 and will feature the participation of the National Teams from Argentina, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Panama, Puerto Rico, and USA.

    During the Draw, the participating teams will be divided in two (2) groups of four (4) teams.

    The pairs for the FIBA U18 Americas Championship Draw are:

    POT 1: Dominican Republic - Chile
    POT 2: Puerto Rico – Argentina
    POT 3: Panama - Ecuador
    POT 4: Canada - USA

    The seven-day tournament sees the top eight teams from the FIBA Americas zone vying for a top-three finish to qualify for the 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup.
