TUNIS (FIBA AfroBasket 2017) - Eight teams are now set to compete for the right of reaching the FIBA AfroBasket 2017 Semi-Finals.

Who will prevail and which teams will go home on Thursday, September 14?

FIBA.basketball brings you an insight of what might happen at Salle Omnisport de Rades, on the outskirts of the Tunisian capital Tunis.

    TUNISIA v DR CONGO
Hosts Tunisia currently sit as the number two team on the continent of Africa as a result of their tenacious basketball programs implemented over the past fifteen years.

DR Congo, meanwhile, last competed at FIBA AfroBasket ten years ago.

While holding their training camp on Tunisian soil, the Congolese faced Tunisia two weeks ago, losing by four points.

Although the hosts have reached the Quarter-Finals undefeated in three games thanks to wins over Cameroon, Guinea and Rwanda, the Congolese have caught many surprise after shocking Nigeria in the Group Phase.

TALENTS TO WATCH: Makram Ben Romdhane, Omar Abada and Nizar Knioua (Tunisia). Myck Kabongo, Herve Kabasele and Maxi Munanga (DR Congo).
