    BEIRA (FIBA U16 Women’s African Championship 2017) - Mali claimed their fifth FIBA U16 Women’s African Championship title after beating Angola 68-29 in Saturday's Final in the Mozambiques’ city of Beira

    BEIRA (FIBA U16 Women’s African Championship 2017) - Mali claimed their fifth FIBA U16 Women’s African Championship title after beating Angola 68-29 in Saturday's Final in the Mozambiques’ city of Beira.

    Aissetou Coulibaly led the way with game-high of 25 points and 6 steals in the winning effort.

    On the other side Alexia Dizeko sparked Angola with team-best 13 points and 7 rebounds but it was not enough to seal the victory for their side.

    Earlier in the day, Egypt claimed the last spot on the podium, after edging out Mozambique, 56-38, in the 3rd-Place Game.

    Coulibaly was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player, headlining the All-Star Five, where she was joined by Noemia Alexandre Massingue (Mozambique), Habiba Elgizawy (Egypt), Cacia Antonio (Angola) and Sika Kone (Mali)
