    LJUBLJANA (Adriatic League) - Partizan Igokea and Red Star continued to set the pace in the Adriatic League at the weekend with both Belgrade sides winning in the latest round of games.

    Partizan got 16 points and seven rebounds from Nikola Pekovic en route to a resounding 83-60 triumph at Union Olimpija (6-5), who tumbled to sixth in the table.

    The victory has left Partizan clear at the top with 10 wins from their 11 contests, one game clear of Red Star (9-2) who got 18 points from Elmedin Kikanovic in a 92-71 drubbing of KK Geoplin Slovan.

    KK Zadar are up to third after an 82-73 demolition of visiting KK Vojvodina Srbijagas.

    Andrej Štimac sparked Zadar with 18 points on six of 11 (54.5%) shooting, including two of four (50%) from three-point range.

    KK Hemofarm STADA (7-4) are now fourth after beating KK Helios Domžale 88-75, Rawle Marshall pouring in 25 points and Slovenia's national team star at the EuroBasket Goran Jagodnik weighing in with 21.

    Christopher Warren tore apart FMP (5-6) with 26 points on eight of 12 (67%) shooting, including three of four (75%) from long range, to lead Cibona (7-4) to a 90-81 triumph.

    Cibona are fifth while FMP are seventh.

    Široki scraped a 79-77 win against Split with Puerto Rico's Sharif Karim Fajardo scoring 25 points in the success.

    Široki tasted victory for just the second time in the Adriatic League and still prop up the table at 2-9.

    Split dropped top 5-6 on the season.

    In the other game, Buducnost (5-6) edged Zagreb (3-8) 89-84.
