MIES (FIBA 3x3 World Tour) – Fans voted Dusan Domovic Bulut (Novi Sad Al Wahda, UAE) Most Spectacular Player (MSP) of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour season on 16 November 2016.
The 31-year-old from Novi Sad, Serbia received 20,000 Votes in the social media contest organised on YouTube.com/FIBA3x3. Zeljko Palavra (Vitez, BIH) and Michael Hicks (Gdansk, POL) finished second and third respectively.
The number one 3x3 player in the World had a career year in 2016. He won MVP honours and led his team to victory in 3 World Tour Masters (Utsunomiya, Debrecen and Beijing). He also struck gold for Serbia at the 2016 FIBA 3x3 World Championships.
Bulut won this silverware in style, with a mixture of dribbling wizardry, gaudy passes and big-time winning shots.
He had the number one play in the Top 5 both at the Utsunomiya and the Beijing Masters. Nobody topped his 5 total appearances in World Tour Top 5 videos this season.
‘Mr Bullutproof’ succeeds to Terrence Romeo (Manila West, PHI), who was elected Most Spectacular Player of the Season in 2015.
