3x3 – Logo and preview website officially unveiled

GENEVA (3x3 Basketball) – FIBA has officially unveiled the logo for 3x3 basketball as well as the preview website – 3x3planet.com – that will become the central platform for the game’s rapidly growing community.

The logo is a symmetrical adaptation of the letters 3x3 and will be used for all officially sanctioned 3x3 basketball events and activities, as well as all 3x3 related communication and promotional activities.

Accessible, energetic and fresh, the design fits all the core values of the discipline and will be rolled out in several different colours.

3x3planet.com, currently still only a preview website, will integrate a worldwide individual ranking system, allowing players to organise pickup games, upload their results and compare themselves among one another with the use of the latest online and mobile technology.

The full version of the site will be launched in early 2012 with the aim of rapidly becoming the world’s largest online sports community.
