    MIES (Switzerland) - Group L has reserved the latest surprises for the final Gameday of the season in the BCL Round of 16, as nobody out of that group has booked a ticket yet for the Quarter-Finals.

    Bertram Derthona Basket (3-2) vs. FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets (2-3) - Group I, 18:30 CET

    • Bertram Derthona Basket have only lost one of their 10 home games in the BCL and have won all the most recent six; both teams have scored 80+ points in five of Derthona's last nine home games.

    • FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets have lost their last three games in the BCL after losing only two of their first eight in the competition; each of their five road games ended with a margin of seven points or fewer and each of the most recent four have seen a win of the team trailing at half-time.

    • Derthona have allowed the fewest three-pointers per game in the BCL this season (7.3) while also having the best defensive three-point percentage in the league this term (29.8%); Wurzburg, however, are one of only two teams to have scored 10+ shots from behind the arc against Derthona in a game this season (13, also BAXI Manresa, 16 made threes).

    • Christian Vital has scored 12 or more points in 11 of his 12 games played with Derthona in the BCL, including a 23-point performance against Wurzburg in the reverse fixture, his second-highest-scoring game in the league (28pts vs. Manresa). He has made a three-pointer in each of his appearances and is making 41.2 percent of his shots from behind the arc in the Round of 16 (14-of-34).

    • Zac Seljaas (Wurzburg) has scored more than 15 points in each of his four road games in the BCL, making 3+ three-pointers and grabbing 5+ rebounds in each of those games; Seljaas has made 3+ shots from behind the arc in seven of his nine games played in the competition.

    • Derthona look unstoppable, as they continued rolling both in the BCL and in the LBA: during the weekend, they found their seventh consecutive win in both competitions, beating Pistoia 94-68. After five straight defeats, Wurzburg bounced back by beating 84-80 the German powerhouse ALBA in Berlin thanks to Jhivvan Jackson's 39-point party.

    Promitheas Patras BC Vikos Cola (1-4) vs. AEK Betsson BC (4-1) - Group I, 18:30 CET

    • Promitheas Patras BC Vikos Cola have lost seven of their last eight home games in the BCL after winning eight of their previous 10; four of their last five home games in the Round of 16 ended with a margin of only two points or fewer.

    • AEK have lost seven of their last nine BCL games played as the road team and have allowed 80+ points in six of those games; this will be their fourth meeting with Promitheas in the competition, they lost their two games in the Round of 16 in 2023-24 but won the reverse fixture this season (97-76).

    • Promitheas have the lowest defensive rebounding ratio in the BCL this season, allowing their opponents to grab 38.6 percent of the rebounds disputed on Promitheas' defensive basket; however, AEK have grabbed fewer offensive boards amongst all teams still competing (8.1 per game).

    • Jordan Walker had 54 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists for Promitheas last week against Wurzburg, the best total of points and the first 40-5-5 for a player in a game in the history of the BCL; he became the seventh player to make at least nine three-pointers in a BCL game (9) and the first one since Jhonathan Dunn in January 2023 against Limoges (9).

    • Grant Golden (AEK) has averaged 14.3 points in his last four BCL games after averaging only 6.9 points in his first seven appearances; he has grabbed 6+ rebounds in eight of his 11 BCL games.

    • Before yet another clash between teams from the same country, both Promitheas and AEK were successful during the weekend, respectively beating Peristeri (86-70) and Maroussi (104-83); after recording the all-time record for most points scored in a single BCL game, Jordan Walker had 19 points and 9 assists, while Hunter Hale contributed with 21 points for his side.

    UCAM Murcia (3-2) vs. ERA Nymburk (4-1) - Group L, 20:00 CET

    • UCAM Murcia have only lost two of their last 29 home games in the BCL and have won each of the most recent four by an average margin of 19 points. They have won their last nine home games in the Round of 16, scoring 85+ points in the most recent four.

    • ERA Nymburk, which will celebrate their 100th game in the competition, have won their last six road games in the BCL, their best such winning streak in the competition, with each of their last three road wins ending with 20+ margins. They have scored 100+ points in each of their last two road games after reaching that total in only one of their first 47 road fixtures.

    • Nymburk have grabbed 40.8 percent of the rebounds disputed on their offensive basket, the highest offensive rebounding ratio of any team in the BCL this season; thus, they have scored the most points from second-chance situations this season (18.0 points per game).

    • Dylan Ennis (Murcia) has scored more than 15 points in each of his last seven BCL games, including 17 in the reverse fixture against Nymburk, and he has scored at least 18 points in four of his five home games in the BCL this season, including in each of the most recent three.

    • Nighael Ceaser (Nymburk) has scored 15+ points in each of his last two BCL games after reaching that total in only one of his first nine appearances; he has also grabbed eight rebounds in three of his last four games.

    • Both Murcia and Nymburk are coming off successful outcomes domestically, as Dylan Ennis (28 points) dragged his team to the 86-70 road win over Breogan while Christian Bishop and JT Shumate had 22 points each in the 98-90 victory over Decin away from home.

    Falco-Vulcano Szombathely (0-5) - Nanterre 92 (3-2) - Group L, 20:00 CET

    • Falco-Vulcano Szombathely have lost their five games in this Round of 16, including a 71-83 defeat against Nanterre 92, by an average margin of 19.2 points. In fact, they have lost 10 of their 11 games in the Round of 16 but the sole win came in Game 6 during the 2021-22 season, 86-81 at home against Rytas Vilnius.

    • Nanterre have won five of their last seven games in the BCL, including the reverse fixture against Falco (83-71), their biggest win this season in the competition; they have scored 90+ points in two of their last four road games, as often as in their previous 14.

    • Of Nanterre's 81.4 points scored per game, 51.1 percent have been scored in the paint, the highest percentage of any team in the BCL this season; amongst the teams in the Round of 16, only Falco have scored fewer three-pointers per game (7.6) than Nanterre (7.9).

    • Benedek Varadi has scored 10+ points in eight of his last nine games with more than 25 minutes played in the BCL, making 3+ three-pointers in six of those games.

    • Justin Tillman (Nanterre) has scored 20+ points in two of his last three BCL games, as often as in his first 23 appearances in the competition; he has averaged 5.5 rebounds in his last six BCL games.

    • Winless in the BCL R16, but still unbeaten in Hungary: Falco needed a 121-118 win in overtime to beat Budapest Honved with Zoltan Perl (33 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds) and Nikola Popovic (25 points and 10 rebounds) shining, as they extended their run to 21-0. Moving to France, Nanterre won 76-67 over Nolan Traore and Saint-Quentin on the road.
