The platform provides the most complete information of the continental championship that will be held from 25 August-6 September in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
The website has the latest information from all the participating national teams and their road to Monterrey, including updated rosters, friendly games and historical data of the team and its players in international competitions, among other details.
During the competition, fiba.com/Americas2015 will be the information hub for everything related to the championship featuring live stats, leaders of each game as well as news, articles, photos. There will also be videos including the best plays and game summaries, interviews and live broadcast of all the press conferences of the tournament.
The national teams of Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela make up the 10-team line-up for the 2015 FIBA Americas Championship.
The top two teams will each earn a spot for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, while the third-, fourth- and fifth-place teams will book places for the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
