PARIS (France) - It was a double celebration for A'ja Wilson after the USA forward added to the second Olympic gold medal of her career by taking MVP honors at the Women’s Olympic Basketball Tournament Paris 2024.
Wilson showed why she is one of the biggest stars in the global game with another exceptional campaign. She was a dominant force in the Final, putting up 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocks in the Gold Medal Game.
Throughout the competition, she averaged 18.7 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.5 steals, and 2.7 blocks per game while shooting 59.2 percent from the floor. That contributed to an amazing 25.7 performance efficiency valuation.
Breanna Stewart joined her USA colleague in the All-Star Five having also been on fire throughout USA's latest golden campaign.
