    Field confirmed for the Women's Olympic Basketball Tournament Paris 2024

    MIES (Switzerland) - The 12-team field for the Women's Olympic Basketball Tournament Paris 2024 is now complete following the successful conclusion of the four FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments.

    MIES (Switzerland) - The 12-team field for the Women's Olympic Basketball Tournament Paris 2024 is now complete following the successful conclusion of the four FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments, in Antwerp, Belgium; Belem, Brazil; Xi'An, China and Sopron, Hungary.

    A total of 11 teams already have previous Olympic appearance, but there was a significant new chapter written for Germany, who will make history when they appear at the Games for the very first time.

    The last tickets to the Olympic Games were claimed on Sunday by Canada, Germany, Japan, Serbia and Spain. Australia, Belgium, China, Nigeria and Puerto Rico qualified on Friday and Saturday.

    FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 champions USA and the hosts of the Olympic Games, France, had guaranteed spots in the Olympics ahead of the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments.

    The full list of the 2024 Women's Olympic Basketball Tournament teams is as follows:

    Emma Meesseman (Belgium), Gabby Williams (France), Mai Yamamoto (Japan) and Ezi Magbegor (Australia) all received TISSOT MVP awards following impressive individual displays at the respective tournaments. 

    The Women's Olympic Basketball Tournament Paris 2024 will take place from July 29 to August 11.
