    LILLE (France) - The second gameday of the Women's Olympic Basketball Tournament Paris 2024 provided some amazing action and even more spectacular individual performances.

    Satou Sabally rode her way into the all-time game-high scoring list after going off for Germany against Japan. Her unstoppable play saw her accumulate 33 points from a deadly accurate 65 percent from the floor.

    Also adding 6 boards and 3 assists, she landed the joint highest performance efficiency valuation of 34.

    It was Breanna Stewart who also accumulated a performance efficiency valuation of 34 after she helped USA move past Belgium in game that was played with a brilliant atmosphere. She disappointed the masses of Cats' fans by dropping 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

    A'ja Wilson went to work with another power-packed outing as she amassed a fantastic 26 points and 13 rebounds against Belgium. It means the forward now has four double-doubles at the Olympics, the most of any USA player in the 21st century.

    Sami Whitcomb was the baller that kept the Opals' Quarter-Final prospects alive with an exceptional display in the win against Canada. She handed out 10 assists and completed a fine double-double after also pouring in 19 points. But it was also about hard work, with the experienced guard grabbing 5 rebounds too.

    Gabby Williams was electrifying for France as they swept aside Nigeria. It was defensively where she really went to work, snapping up a super 6 steals. On offense she also shone, posting a super smart 14 points and dishing out 7 dimes as her team dominated their opponents to reach the last eight of the competition.
