    Giannis and Greece will watch closely the Serbia v South Sudan game.

    The Group Phase is in the books for Group A and B. Two final games will be played for Group C South Sudan, Serbia and Greece are still in contention.

    LILLE - (France) There has been no lack of drama here at the Men's Olympic Basketball Tournament, and qualifications are on the line.

    Here's a look at the situation ahead of the action on August 3.

    Group A

    Canada, Australia have already qualified. Spain are out of contention.

    Greece has played their three games but are still in contention to be one of the two best teams finishing third of their group. Greece has 1 win, 2 loss and a point differential of -8.

    Greece will qualify if in Group C:

    • SSD beat SRB by 24 points or more

    • SRB beat SSD by 3 points or more

    Greece will be eliminated from contention in any other case.

    Group B

    France, Germany and Brazil have already qualified. Japan is eliminated from contention.

    Brazil finishes 3rd of the group win 1 win, 2 loss and a point differential of -7.

    Group C

    USA have already qualified and will finish 1st of the group.

    Puerto Rico is eliminated from contention

    The winner of Serbia v South Sudan will finish 2nd of the group, the loser will be 3rd of the group.

    If Serbia lose to South Sudan by 22 points or less, they will still qualify as their point-average of -7 will still be better than Greece.

    If South Sudan lose to Serbia by 1 point, they will still qualify as their point-average of -7 will still be better than Greece.
