MUNICH (Germany) - The official logo of FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 has now been revealed ahead of next year's flagship event.

The visual identity of the event features vibrant colors in the depiction of the Women's EuroBasket trophy - which was unveiled ahead of the 2023 tournament - to capture its beauty, grace and strength in combination with the elegant silver tone.

The launch of the logo also marks the celebration of International Women's Day in recognition of the stars of the sport that will be set to shine on the big stage, and help inspire the next generation of female athletes.

Czechia, Germany, Greece and Italy will co-host the 40th edition of the competition and are represented in the significant elements of the core brand identity. There are also specific color patterns to provide a unique feel for each of the cities of Brno, Hamburg, Piraeus and Bologna as they get set for the Final Round.

"FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 is the flagship women's basketball competition in Europe, and it is important to capture the excitement of the event as preparations continue," said FIBA Executive Director Europe Kamil Novak.

"The launch of the logo marks the next steps in this process - it was chosen in close cooperation with the four hosts, and we are all pleased with how it has come together."

This is the first time that the FIBA Women's EuroBasket will be held in four countries having first implemented a co-hosting format in 2015 with four of the five previous editions hosted by two countries.

The path to next year's major tournament is already underway after the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers commenced in November with the first of three windows. The 36 participating nations will resume their qualification battles in November 2024 and February 2025.

Belgium are the reigning champions after their maiden triumph in 2023, and the next winners will be crowned at the iconic Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus, Greece as it plays center stage to the Final Phase.
