MUNICH (Germany) - The FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers are now over and it's time to take a look back at the individual game highs that lit up the campaign.
There were some phenomenal efforts right across all three windows and here's who topped the charts.
Efficiency: 56 - Emma Meesseman (BEL)
The Cats' leader was unstoppable in a one-sided 136-28 success against Azerbaijan as she accumulated a jaw-dropping performance efficiency valuation of 56. That came from a breathtaking 15 of 16 shooting effort that returned 31 points and sat alongside 11 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals.
Jessica Shepard burst onto the scene in the second window for Slovenia with a valuation of 46 in an 82-64 win against Finland after a double-double of 29 points and 23 boards. The third best valuation of 40 was Anne Simon for Luxembourg in a 78-37 win at Bosnia and Herzegovina. She had 25 points, 9 boards, 7 steals and 5 assists.
Points: 33 - Anete Steinberga (LAT), Andjelika Mitrashinovikj (MKD)
There was a tie for the best points tally in a game and they were both racked up on Gameday 6. Anete Steinberga fired 33 points for Lativa as they held off Ireland 96-90. Meanwhile Andjelika Mitrashinovikj was on fire for North Macedonia with 33 points as they were just squeezed out 74-72 by Ukraine.
There was also a tie in the battle for the third podium step for best points tally in a game. Amanda Cahill netted 32 points for Luxembourg in a 71-49 success against Montenegro, while Temi Fagbenle matched that as Great Britain rode past Estonia 83-45.
Rebounds: 23 - Jessica Shepard (SLO)
Jessica Shepard was a colossus for Slovenia and pulled down more boards in a game than anyone else after an astonishing 23 rebounds in an 82-64 win against Finland.
The second highest tally on the glass was by Daniel Raber of Israel who grabbed 20 rebounds for Israel in an 83-80 loss to Latvia. The third best was 18 and accumulated by Weronika Telenga of Poland in an 88-34 success against Azerbaijan, with Emese Hof also taking 18 boards for Netherlands in a 64-45 win against Austria.
Assists: 14 - Julie Vanloo (BEL)
Belgian Cats playmaker Julie Vanloo showed her quality passing the rock when she dished 14 assists for her teammates in a 136-28 demolition of Azerbaijan.
In second place, Pinelopi Pavlopoulou had 12 assists for Greece against Czechia, although her team lost 81-66. She also featured in a tie for third place with 11 assists in a 75-66 victory against Czechia - a number that Holly Winterburn also achieved for Great Britain as they beat Denmark 75-62.
Steals: 9 - Laura Gil (ESP)
While nobody reached what would have been an incredible double-digit landmark, Laura Gil was only one away after snatching 9 steals for Spain. The experienced forward showed her defensive prowess in a 75-34 lockdown of Austria.
The second best came from Anne Simon for Luxembourg in a 78-37 win at Bosnia and Herzegovina when she recorded a super 7 steals. The third-placed number of 6 is a total that was achieved no fewer than six times by six different ballers.
Blocks: 5 - Multiple Players
It was a four-way lock with three players at the top of the game-high blocks chart, with 5 being the high across the Qualifiers. Awak Kuier of Finland can claim to still be the 'Swat Queen' as she led the competition in blocks, and also managed 5 in a game on two separate occasions. They came in 85-72 and 75-65 wins against Bulgaria.
Kyara Linskens of Belgium swatted 5 shots as the Cats cruised past Azerbaijan 97-24, with Helena Pueyo blocking 5 shots for Spain in a 76-45 win against Austria.
