MUNICH (Germany) - While the stars of FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 will be dazzling fans with their skills and talent on the court, there will be another standout personality making waves – Fiona, the official mascot of the tournament.

Fiona's story is one of dreams, resilience, and an unbreakable love for basketball.

Although she never reached her goal of becoming a player herself, Fiona brings a unique passion to the game, ready to inspire and engage fans with her contagious energy. From cheering on players to motivating them to take that game-winning shot, Fiona's presence promises to add an unforgettable touch to Europe's biggest women's basketball event.

Gifted with an extraordinary sixth sense, Fiona can tune into the emotions of players and fans alike through her magical glasses. She knows when a player needs a boost in confidence or when fans need an extra spark of excitement. Fiona's role extends beyond mascot duties; she’s here to be a source of motivation and encouragement, reminding everyone to dare to dream.

Making her first appearance during the Qualifiers in November, Fiona will be the face of the tournament and will continue her journey to the Final Round next summer.

FIBA Women's EuroBasket will be held across four cities for the first time with Brno in Czechia, Hamburg in Germany, Bologna in Italy and Piraeus in Greece sharing the hosting duties for the 40th edition of the prestigious tournament from June 18-29, 2025.

The four host nations have automatic berths at the event, while the battle to join them at the Final Round heats up in the second window of the Qualifiers with 32 other nations competing to claim one of the remaining 12 spots.
