    FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket 2024 continues to heat up with a number of engaging games on Sunday.

    KLAIPEDA & VILNIUS (Lithuania) - Türkiye, Israel and Portugal have many reasons to smile as they recorded their first victories on Day 2 of the FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket 2024.

    Even though she spent just 18 minutes on the court, Italy's Matilde Villa collected the highest efficiency on Sunday with 30. The point guard showcased her versatility with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals.

    Portugal quickly recovered from the Day 1 thriller loss with a win over Montenegro; Clara Silva was the leading name with an efficiency of 29. She posted 12 points, 10 rebounds, 6 blocks and 5 assists.

    Israel's Dorian Dahan Sujic made it back-to-back Top Performer appearances with an efficiency of 29, powered by a double-double of 20 points and 15 rebounds. She also put up 3 assists and 2 blocks in her team's win over Serbia.

    Türkiye bounced back with a win over Poland as Elif Istanbulluoglu led the way with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 1 block which amounted to an efficiency of 24.

    Carla Brito shined in Spain's another comfortable victory with an efficiency of 22. In just over 16 minutes of playing time, the power forward scored 19 points, 4 rebounds and 1 block with a perfect 8-of-8 shooting from the field.
