FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket 2024 ready to go with rosters finalized

    The 2024 edition sees 16 teams compete in Matosinhos from August 3-11.

    MATOSINHOS (Portugal) - The final rosters have been confirmed as the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket 2024 gets underway on Saturday.

    There are 16 teams competing for the right to be crowned champions in Matosinhos, Portugal, with Slovenia having earned their first-ever title at the event 12 months ago.

    Group A: Latvia, Spain, Slovenia, Türkiye Group B: Finland, France, Luxembourg, Israel Group C: Germany, Italy, Portugal, Serbia Group D: Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Belgium

    France have finished on the podium in each of the last three editions.

    The tournament schedule begins with three days of Group Phase action, before the first rest day is followed by the Round of 16 and Quarter-Finals action. The Semi-Finals will take place on Saturday after the second rest day, while the competition will conclude on 11 August.

    Meanwhile, there are 18 nations hoping to be competing in Division A next summer with the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket 2024, Division B running from August 2-11 in Ploiesti, Romania.

    All games at the Youth EuroBasket this summer are streamed, live and for free, on FIBA's official YouTube channel.
