MATOSINHOS (Portugal) - Spain and France progressed to the Final of the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket, as both remain unbeaten in the tournament heading into the title decider.
There will be high stakes on Sunday as Hungary and Portugal will play for fifth - and the final qualification spot for the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2025 in Czechia - while Slovenia and Croatia will fight for survival.

Semi-Finals
Serbia and Israel led for a combined 30 seconds in their Semi-Finals against Spain and France respectively, proving to be no match for the finalists. Six Spain players had 6 points or more in the outing, their ball movement resulting in 21 assists. Awa Fam had 21 points and 15 rebounds in their dominant 68-45 success.
Serbia themselves failed to look after the ball with 25 turnovers, leading to 22 Spain points off turnovers. The story was similar for France, with five of their players scoring 10 or more, as their team shot 61.54 percent from two compared to Israel's 24.24 percent in a crushing 95-27 victory. Israel were outmatched by this unbeaten France team and only managed 5 points in the second half, but will battle it out with Serbia for a place on the podium on Sunday.

Awa Fam has repeated the feat of going to the final, as she did at the FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket, helping with an imposing double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds with 2 blocks for an efficiency rating of 33.
Clara Silva continues to breakout and has put her nation in with a chance of qualifying for the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2025 in Czechia as part of the top five, after the center delivered 19 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in their win over Belgium. In their battle to remain in Division A, Croatia put on a strong showing to defeat Germany with help from Gina Pirjak who grabbed 22 points, 7 steals and 4 rebounds for an efficiency rating of 25.
Also prolific for Croatia was Lea Vukic, also with 22 points as well as 8 rebounds and 5 assists rated 23 for efficiency and the Croatians will need to take this form into their relegation decider against Slovenia on Sunday. Anna Liepina has been a consistent performer throughout the tournament and in the Classification Games increased her scoring output, with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks in Latvia's latest win.
