PRETORIA (South Africa) - The FIBA U18 Women's AfroBasket 2024 action is almost ready to get underway after the final rosters and full schedule were confirmed in the build-up to the tournament.
There are 12 teams aiming to be crowned champions in Pretoria including last year's winners Mali who have claimed the title in the past three editions (2018, 2020 and 2022).

Group A: South Africa, Tunisia, Cameroon, Rwanda Group B: Mali, Morocco, Zambia, Angola Group C: Egypt, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Nigeria EDITOR'S NOTE- As we published this article the following rosters were yet to be validated: Angola, Mali and Uganda.
The twelve national teams will play 34 games over the course of 10 game-days from September 2-13.
There will be three rest days on 3, 6, and 9 September.

The teams that finish in the top two places of each group and the two best third-placed teams will advance to the Semi-Finals.
And the finalists will earn the right to represent Africa at next year's FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup in Czechia.
