Germany claim first-ever FIBA U18 EuroBasket title

    Press Release

It was the perfect week in Tampere for Germany as they celebrated being crowned U18 champions for the first time.

TAMPERE (Finland) - Germany secured their maiden FIBA U18 EuroBasket title after prevailing against 2023 champions Serbia, 93-83, in Sunday's Final.

They raced out of the blocks to lead by as many as 20 points in the first half, but needed to repel a strong fightback from Serbia, who have now made it onto the podium in five of the last six editions.
