PRETORIA (South Africa) - The FIBA U18 AfroBasket 2024 Quarter-Finals is all set following the Qualification to Quarter-Finals' conclusion on Tuesday night at University of Pretoria.
Mali and Rwanda, the only undefeated teams in the Group Phase, topped Groups A and C, respectively with a 3-0 mark each.
In Group B, however, Egypt, Angola and Nigeria, all finished with a 2-1 mark, with the Pharaohs finishing first thanks to its highest point-differential.
Nigeria (2-1) and Cameroon (1-2) clinched the best third-placed spots to complete the Last Eight Round.
Meanwhile, hosts South Africa (0-3), Côte d'Ivoire (0-3) and Zambia (1-2) will now compete for the 9th-12th Place in the Classification Round.
The FIBA U18 AfroBasket 2024 Quarter-Finals will take place on Thursday with the following match-ups:
- Rwanda v Cameroon - Morocco v Angola - Mali v Nigeria - Egypt v Senegal.
