    Who had the best performance from each group at the U17 World Cup?

    ISTANBUL (Türkiye) - The FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2024 has been a wild ride with plenty of great storylines for the fans to follow and big performances from young stars. Before we tip off the Final Phase with the Round of 16, let's look at who were the best players of each of the four groups and their highlights so far.

    Group A - Guillermo Del Pino - Spain

    10.3 points, 2.3 assists, 1.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game, 58 percent two-point field-goal shooting

    Del Pino ranks third in scoring for Spain and has made the second-most three-pointers - 1.3 per game - and is tops on the team in steals. Del Pino has shown an ability to step up in big occasions - the biggest being scoring 7 points in the final 83 seconds of the team's important win over Lithuania.

    Group B - Cameron Boozer - USA

    22.0 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 2.3 assists per game, 70 percent two-point field-goal shooting, 81 percent free throw shooting

    Boozer is slowly making the case for the best performance ever at the U17 World Cup - especially if he played more than 20.8 minutes. He is averaging an astounding 32.7 efficiency in that stretch, ranking second in the competion in scoring, tied for third in rebounds and tied for second in steals.

    Group C - Oscar Goodman - NZL

    19.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game, 70 percent two-point field-goal shooting, 78 percent free throw shooting

    Goodman has come up big for the Kiwis, ranking fourth in the competition in scoring, tied for second on his team in rebounds and leading his teammates in assists and steals. Goodman also is tied for the team lead in most three-pointers made per game with 1.3.

    Group D - Harrison Beauchamp - AUS

    14.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 blocks per game, 53 percent field-goal shooting, 50 percent three-point shooting

    Beauchamp has done it all for the Crocs, leading the team in scoring, ranking tied for third in rebounds and third in assists. Beauchamp has been deadly from long range as well, making 50 percent of his three-pointers.
