MISKOLC (Hungary) - The final rosters for the FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket 2024 have been locked in ahead of the tournament getting underway on Friday.
The event in Miskolc will bring the summer action of Youth EuroBasket tournaments to a close as 16 participating teams battle for the right to be crowned champions.
Hosts Hungary are among the teams aiming for a successful week, while France are the two-time defending champions following their title triumphs in both 2022 and 2023.

Group A: Sweden, Italy, Croatia, Germany Group B: Israel, France, Hungary, Greece Group C: Serbia, Spain, Latvia, Poland Group D: Montenegro, Belgium, Finland, Slovenia
Three consecutive days of the Group Phase will be followed by the first of two rest days, before the tournament continues with the Round of 16 and Quarter-Finals. After the second break, the fight for the title heats up with the Semi-Finals on Friday and then the Final will conclude proceedings on Saturday.
Elsewhere, the FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket, Division B tournament began on Thursday with 20 teams competing in Konya, Türkiye looking to earn one of the three available spots for promotion.
