Hosts Hungary had to work hard for their first win as point guard Mika Kanitz went off for opponents Israel, with 30 points, including 8 three-pointers, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists for an efficiency rating of 34.
France's dominant win over Greece was boosted by the presence of Kathy-Emma Otto, who contributed a double-double of 15-points and 12-rebounds to go with 5 steals and an overall efficiency rating of 33.
