GIBRALTAR (Gibraltar) - The FIBA U16 EuroBasket, Division C tournament is one of 16 youth events that will take place this summer.
It will take place in Gibraltar, Gibraltar from July 9-14.
Who is participating?
A total of eight teams will compete for the Division C title. They have been split into two groups of four teams. The Group Phase is as follows:
Group A: Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus
Group B: Malta, Moldova, Gibraltar, Albania
What is the schedule?
The Group Phase will take place across three days with a rest day on July 12 before the competition moves onto the Semi-Finals on July 13. The Final will begin on July 14, with the final Classification Games also determining each of the eight positions.

Who were the winners in 2023?
Azerbaijan put together an 18-6 run in the second quarter and never looked back as they defeated hosts Andorra 57-45 in last year's Division C Final. Ela Nur Gokchol and Silan Akbingol combined for 34 points to put their counterparts to the sword with the former finishing with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Akbingol had an impressive 15 points and 25 rebounds.
They return this summer to defend their title.
Former MVPs
Nur Gokchol's efforts in the Final along with a consistent string of performances, averaging 14.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6 assists, earned her tournament MVP honors.

Cyprus are the most successful nation in Division C with four titles and two bronze medals to their name. Scotland have tasted success three times as have Iceland.
