CANBERRA, Australia – The path to the world stage for young basketball talent in Oceania begins now.
The 2024 FIBA U15 Oceania Cup will be held in Canberra, Australia, from November 11 to 16. This tournament marks the start of a new cycle in the FIBA Youth Championships, with the top two teams earning spots in the FIBA U16 Asia Cup, which serves as a qualifier for the FIBA U17 World Championships.
A Brief History
Inaugurated in 2018, the FIBA U15 Oceania Championship is the youngest international age group competition under the new FIBA Competition System. This biennial event showcases the best young talent from the region.

All games will be held at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra from November 11-16, 2024.
Australia, New Zealand, and Samoa secured the top three spots in previous editions. This year’s tournament promises to be exciting, especially with Tonga eager to showcase its talent for the first time in the competition's history.
