SAN JUAN (Puerto Rico) - Italy and Lithuania and opened their FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament campaigns with emphatic wins on the opening day of action in San Juan to take the first step towards Paris.
They are among three teams who could clinch Semi-Final spots on July 3 in Puerto Rico, with the tournament hosts also in a position to join the European powerhouses in the next round if things go their way in an exciting matchup against the ultimate underdogs Bahrain.
