    Draws complete for FIBA Youth EuroBasket and European Championship for Small Countries 2024

    FREISING (Germany) - The draws for the FIBA Youth EuroBasket and European Championship for Small Countries 2024 were completed in Freising, Germany on Tuesday.

    FREISING (Germany) - The draws for the FIBA Youth EuroBasket and European Championship for Small Countries 2024 were completed in Freising, Germany on Tuesday.

    FIBA Europe President Jorge Garbajosa was in attendance at the ceremony alongside FIBA Europe Executive Director Kamil Novak, as well as other esteemed guests and representatives from the National Federations.

    Former international players Andreas Glyniadakis of Greece and Finland's Tiina Sten helped with the draw proceedings.

    A total of 245 teams representing 47 national federations will take part across the 16 youth competitions, which will begin with the FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket tournaments from July 6-14.

    The new logo for the youth competitions was also revealed following the name change in line with the senior events, as approved by the Executive Committee across all regions.

    Meanwhile, it has also now been confirmed that the FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket, Division B will take place in the city of Konya, Turkiye from August 15-24.

    The summer's action will commence with the European Championship for Small Countries with the men's and women's events both taking place from June 25-30.
