Marcquise Reed was again clinical for Tofas Bursa, as they edged Maroussi BC, 77-74, in a thrilling encounter to edge closer to the Quarter-Finals. The American hit a game-high 32 points, hitting all 13 of his free throw attempts, throwing in 5 assists and 3 rebounds for good measure for an efficiency rating of 32.
BC Kalev/Cramo nearly delayed PAOK mateco's flight to the Quarter-Finals, but narrowly missed out, losing 87-85. However, Stefan Vaaks was outstanding for the visitors; hitting eight triples for 28 points and pulling down 5 rebounds for a rating of 27.
Vaaks' loss was Cedric Henderson's gain as he guided PAOK to the last eight with a virtuoso performance against BC Kalev/Cramo. Henderson drained four triples and dished 2 assists to add to his tally of 22 points, finishing with an efficiency rating of 23. Natan Jurkovitz was solid for Fribourg Olympic as he led the Swiss side closer to qualification for the Quarter-Finals. The forward flirted with a double-double of 19 points and 8 rebounds along with 3 steals, helping Fribourg to a 95-87 victory over Spirou Basket.
Bastien Vautier was sublime for Cholet Basket as they progressed to the Quarter-Finals on Wednesday night. Vautier had 21 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks for a rating of 22, as his inside presence was felt in his side's convincing 92-60 win over fellow French side ESSM Le Portel.
