Lineup for FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season finalized

    The final 10 spots have been confirmed from the Qualifiers to complete the 40-team lineup.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The full lineup for the 2024-25 FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season has now been set as the Qualifiers were completed on Friday.

    CSM Constanta (ROU) and Maroussi Basketball Club (GRE) were first to punch their tickets 24 hours earlier, and were joined by Anorthosis Famagusta (CYP), Alba Fehervar (HUN), Bilbao Basket (ESP) JDA Bourgogne Dijon (FRA) and Sporting CP (POR), while BC Prievidza (SVK), Spirou Basket (BEL) and BC Dnipro (UKR) were confirmed as the three lucky losers.

    The additional spots opened up from the Basketball Champions League Qualifiers, in which 15 teams were added to the field alongside the 15 clubs that gained direct entry into the FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season.

    The groups for the Regular Season are as follows:

    Group A: Tofas Bursa (TUR); Petrolina AEK (CYP); Keravnos BC (CYP); Basketball Lowen Braunschweig (GER) Group B: Casademont Zaragoza (ESP); Patrioti Levice (SVK); Bursaspor (TUR); Anorthosis Famagusta (CYP) Group C: Cholet Basket (FRA); Windrose Giants Antwerp (BEL); Fribourg Olympic (SUI); CSM Constanta (ROU) Group D: Anwil Wloclawek (POL); Dinamo Banco di Sardegna (ITA); BC Dnipro (UKR); Sporting CP (POR) Group E: CSM Oradea (ROU); BC Parnu Sadam (EST); PGE Spojnia Stargard (POL); Fotbal Club Arges (ROU) Group F: BC Kalev/Cramo (EST); Rilski Sportist (BUL); ESSM Le Portel (FRA); Alba Fehervar (HUN) Group G: Spirou Basket (BEL); Norrkoping Dolphins (SWE); Sabah BC (AZE); Maroussi Basketball Club (GRE) Group H: MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg (GER); BC Trepca (KOS); Caledonia Gladiators (GBR); JDA Bourgogne Dijon (FRA) Group I: FC Porto (POR); PAOK (GRE); NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyasz (HUN); Hubo Limburg United (BEL) Group J: BC Prievidza (SVK); BC Balkan (BUL); Kutaisi 2010 (GEO); Bilbao Basket (ESP)

    The Regular Season splits the 40 clubs into 10 groups of four, with the group winners advancing to the Second Round along with the six best-ranked runners-up.

    The action is set to commence on Tuesday, October 8.
