    Tofas guard Alex Perez averaged 16.5 points and 9.5 assists during the month

    MUNICH (Germany) - Alex Perez has won December's FIBA Europe Cup MVP award after an impressive period of unbeaten Turkish side Tofas Bursa.

    Perez has been in unstoppable form for the Turkish side during the month, pulling the strings and preserving their unbeaten start to the competition.

    The Mexican international averaged 16.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 9.5 assists during December, while shooting an eye-catching 45 percent from the field including 36.5 percent from three-point land.

    Perez filled the statsheet in his side's 96-83 win over Maroussi BC to open up the Second Round with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists as well as 2 steals, whilst shooting a solid 40 percent from three-point land in the win.

    The 31-year-old followed that up with a double-double in the 95-87 road win over FC Porto. He scored 13 points and had 11 steals, going 50 percent from the floor, leaving Tofas Bursa with a commanding 2-0 record in Group K heading into 2025.

    This season, Perez is averaging 10.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 7.6 assists a game and plays an integral part in Tofas' free-flowing offense, where they lead the FIBA Europe Cup in points, scoring 97.1 points per game.
