FIBA Europe Cup Quarter-Finals lineup complete

    Eight teams are left in the battle to be crowned 2024-25 champions.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The 2024-25 FIBA Europe Cup season is down to its final eight teams as the Second Round of the competition concluded on Wednesday.

    Bilbao Basket, Casademont Zaragoza, Cholet Basket, Fribourg Olympic, JDA Bourgogne Dijon, MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg, PAOK mateco and Tofas Bursa all advance to the Quarter-Finals - which will take place next month.

    Tofas advance in dramatic fashion; Fribourg, Dijon also into last eight

    There is guaranteed to be a new champion crowned this season after 2023 winners Anwil Wloclawek failed to advance.

    The Quarter-Finals matchups are as follows:

    Tofas Bursa (TUR) vs Bilbao Basket (ESP) MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg (GER) vs JDA Bourgogne Dijon (FRA) Cholet Basket (FRA) vs Casademont Zaragoza (ESP) PAOK mateco (GRE) vs Fribourg Olympic (SUI)

    Swiss side Fribourg will compete in the Quarter-Finals for the first time in their fourth season, alongside FIBA Europe Cup debutants Dijon, MHP RIESEN, PAOK and Tofas.

    Meanwhile, Cholet were runners-up in the 2023 Finals, with Bilbao reaching the last four stage last season and Zaragoza now making it back-to-back Quarter-Final appearances.

    Each round of the Play-Offs will be played across two legs, with the winners of the group winners earning home advantage for the second leg in the Quarter-Finals.

    The ties are scheduled to be played on March 5 and 12 with the exact dates and times to be confirmed.
