MUNICH (Germany) – CSM CSU Oradea's Kris Richard leaped into the top five of the FIBA Europe Cup all-time scoring charts on Wednesday night.
Needing just five points to overtake Worthy De Jong, the 35-year-old scored 11 points in Oradea's 77-65 win over PGE Spojnia Stargard to settle on 736 points at an average of 12.2 points per game.
Richard, who leads Oradea in scoring at 18 points per game, is now just 25 points behind Tony Taylor, who sits in fourth position. With the Romanian side currently unbeaten after four games, Richard has every chance of continuing his rise up the leaderboard.
