    The 24 national teams were sorted into four groups at Thursday's draw in Riga.

    RIGA (Latvia) - The FIBA EuroBasket 2025 draw is now complete, and with it, the road to the trophy is officially set.

    Four-time EuroBasket champion Rudy Fernandez and 2005 winner Nikos Zisis were the ones to determine the fate of the 24 participating teams, sorting them into four Group Phase destinations in Cyprus, Finland, Poland and Latvia.

    Serbia, Latvia, Czechia, Türkiye, Estonia and Portugal were drawn in Group A, set to take place in Riga, Latvia.

    Germany, Lithuania, Montenegro, Finland, Great Britain and Sweden will battle in Group B, which will be played in Tampere, Finland.

    Limassol, Cyprus will provide the backdrop for Group C, with Spain, Greece, Italy, Georgia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina joining hosts Cyprus on the island.

    Meanwhile, France, Slovenia, Poland, Israel, Belgium and Iceland landed in Group D and will begin their FIBA EuroBasket 2025 campaigns in Katowice, Poland.

    Group Phase action will take place from August 27 - September 4, 2025 across the four venues before converging in the Latvian capital Riga for the Final Phase, with the champions crowned on September 14.

    The stage is now set, but the question remains: who drew the short straw and ended up in the Group of Death?
