The lineup features stars from the Pre-Qualifiers as well as the previous Asia Cup Qualifiers as well, whether it's Moses Morgan, Tyler Lamb, or Freddie Lish.

Morgan (13.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.3 steals) per game) and Lish (19.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists per game on 54.3 percent field-goal shooting and 45.9 percent three-point shooting) played in all of Thailand's 7 Pre-Qualifiers games.

Lamb reinforced the Thai squad in the Second Round of the Pre-Qualifiers and poured in 27.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.3 steals per contest on their way to confirming their spot in the Qualifiers.

Outside of the familiar faces, Thailand have also listed some potential FIBA debutants in this preliminary roster in Martin Breunig, Emmanuel Ejesu, Takamin Sirijariyaporn, and Piyawat Ketboonlue.

Breunig stands out as the key highlight among potential debutants as the 31-year-old has played in Germany for the past 8 seasons and is currently playing for Mitteldeustscher BC in Germany's BBL, where he was an All-Star in 2019. The 6.8" (2.03 M) big man also represented Thailand in recent South East Asian Games.

Thailand are in Group A of the Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers with Indonesia, Korea, and Austrsalia.

They play against Indonesia in their first game of Window 1 on 22 February 2024 at 19.00 (GMT +7) on their homecourt at Nimibutr Stadium. They will then travel to Wonju to play against Korea at Wonju Gymnasium on 25 February 2024 at 15:00 (GMT +9).

Thailand have not played in the Asia Cup since 2013. The Southeast Asian nation played in the first-ever Asia Cup Qualifiers in the previous cycle, but did not qualify after finishing last place in Group A - where they were also drawn with Indonesia and Korea as well as the Philippines.

Like the previous cycle, the 24 Asia Cup Qualifiers teams are drawn into 6 groups of 4. Each team plays the other 3 teams on a home-and-away basis over 3 windows, with 2 games per window.

The top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the FIBA Asia Cup 2025, making a total of 12 teams.

The six 3rd-place teams from each group, meanwhile, qualify to play in a final qualifying tournament. The top 4 teams from this competition will take the remaining spots of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025.
