An explosion of colors: the FIBA AmeriCup 2025 logo is presented

The design represents Nicaragua's natural elements and will be the icon of the 2025 edition of the tournament.

MIAMI (United States) – The FIBA Regional Office in the Americas, in collaboration with the Nicaraguan Basketball Federation, presented the official logo of the FIBA AmeriCup 2025 that will be played in Managua, Nicaragua, at the Alexis Argüello Polideportivo, from August 22 to 31 2025. The logo design displays various natural elements that represent the host country, which come together with the tournament’s champion trophy.

The shape of the trophy is the main element and the different ranges of yellow, green and blue adorning it allude to the rainforests and river sources found in Nicaragua. At the top you can see the shape of the country's National Flower, called Sacuanjoche or May Flower, and inside you can see the silhouette of the Molten ball, the official FIBA ball. The flashes of warm colors around the flower resemble the heat emanating from the volcanoes seen in the region, but also represent the explosion of fireworks on the occasion of the basketball event that will take place on Nicaraguan soil. This will be the 20th edition of the main and most prestigious national team tournament in the Americas. A total of 12 countries, including the host, Nicaragua, will compete for the title. The other 11 teams will seek their ticket to the competition through the FIBA AmeriCup 2025 Qualifiers, which will have its next two windows in November 2024 and February 2025. FIBA
