ABIDJAN (Cote d'Ivoire) - The 2025 AfroBasket Qualifiers are almost over, and five teams remain unbeaten. But for how long?
From 21-23 February, 16 teams will confirm their places at AfroBasket 2025 in Angola.
But before we delve into FIBA's flagship tournament, let's take a look back at the first 30 games of the qualifiers, which have seen five teams - Cape Verde, Côte d'Ivoire, DR Congo, Senegal and Tunisia - top Groups A, B, C, D and E.
Can they remain unbeaten over the next 30 games in Antananarivo, Rabat and Tripoli?
Group C leaders Senegal, for example, were tested in front of their home fans by Cameroon in the second qualifying round in Dakar last November, but after 45 matches they lead all 20 teams in points scored per game.
