    Boca Juniors sweep at home and close their Group Stage strong

    The Argentine squad secured two dominant wins in Buenos Aires, comfortably defeating Toros de Chiriquí in the third stage of the competition.

    BUENOS AIRES (Argentina) – Boca Juniors (4-2) controlled the game from start to finish, securing a commanding 114-70 victory over Toros de ChiChiriquí (0-6) in the final Group B matchup at Gimnasio Héctor Etchart in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Thomas Cooper led Boca Juniors with 16 points and set the tone early, jumping to a 30-13 lead by the end of the first quarter and steadily widening the gap. Martín Cuello followed with 15 points, while Andrés Ibargüen, Marcos Delía and Sebastián Vega each contributed 13. Juan Guerrero also reached double digits, finishing with 11 points and 9 assists.

    For Toros, the ever-reliable Michael Hicks led the team with 18 points, while José Lloreda, Guillermo Navarro, and Ezequiel Bell each added 10. Boca had already made a statement on Sunday by handing Flamengo its first loss of the season with a dominant 96-71 victory. This time, they maintained their relentless pace in front of their home crowd, securing another convincing win and eliminating their Panamanian opponents, who finished the season winless. With these two emphatic performances, Boca sends a strong message to the rest of the competition: they will be a serious contender in the Playoffs.
