Team USA, 12 names for another golden mission

COLORADO SPRINGS (USA) - Red hot favorites to land a fifth title in six editions, USA have announced the 12 players that are heading to the FIBA Women's U17 Basketball World Cup in Debrecen.
In what was a fiercely competitive six days of trials in Colorado Springs, the final list of USA athletes came from an original pool of 40 players, all vying to get the thumbs up for the tournament in Hungary next month.

Madison Booker, Jaloni Cambridge, Breya Cunningham, Jadyn Donovan, Judea Watkins and Jada Williams were all members of the team that won gold last year at the FIBA Women’s U16 Americas Championship. Meanwhile Mikaylah Williams has previous USA Basketball experience whe winning gold at the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup 2021.
The team will be led by head coach Sue Phillips, alongside assistants Tom McConnell and Brittanny Johnson, with the trio tasked with continuing their nation's amazing tradition in the competition.
