There is a familiar feel to the group that will be working hard to get in shape for the tournament, now less than a month away.
Jodi Gram is once again at the helm of a roster that will be largely made up from those who were runners-up at the FIBA U16 Americas Women’s Championship in Buenos Aires last year.

"Heading to a World Cup is always exciting but this group of staff and athletes only adds to that excitement,” said the play-caller.
“We have threats at every position in different ways, and a group that has shown commitment to investing in themselves away from camp to ultimately make the team better.
“Working with this age group and traveling internationally always proves to be an amazing growth opportunity,” added Gram.
The list is headlined by Brynn Masikewich who led the team in efficiency, points and rebounds in Argentina.
Following the end of the invitational tryouts and training period, the team will depart for Europe on July 12 and will begin exhibition games against Latvia, China, and USA in Liepaja, Latvia between July 14-16.
Canada will compete in Group D with reigning champions Australia, Angola and Latvia.
