SARAJEVO (2016 FIBA U17 World Championship) -  Bosnia and Herzegovina and Spain split a pair of 2016 FIBA U17 World Championship warm-up games with both teams picking up a come-from-behind victory.

Spain reversed a 16-point deficit in winning their first preparation game of the summer with a 77-74 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday in Sarajevo.

The Bosnians came back from 12 points down a day later and finished strong with a 14-2 run in the final five minutes for a 79-67 win in Vitez - the hometown of Bosnia coach Josip Pandza.

In the first game in front of about 6,000 fans in Sarajevo, Bosnia led 34-18 early in the second quarter but the Spanish won the fourth 28-17 to grab the victory - with Miguel Gonzales nailing key back-to-back three-pointers in the final two minutes to set up the victory.

Josep Busquets paced Spain with 17 points while Sergi Martinez and Osas Ehigitor both scored 10 points.

Dzanan Musa had an outstanding individual showing with 32 points - albeit just 1-of-11 three-pointers - to go with 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks. Sani Campara added nine points in the loss.

    ...

Musa was again Bosnia’s do-it-all man in the second game, collecting 26 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 steals. But Bosnia played more like a team with three other players scoring in double figures - Emir Cerkozovic with 15 points and 7 rebounds, Aljosa Jankovic with 11 points and 9 rebounds while Campara added 13 points.

Spain got 19 points from Busquets while Martinez added 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will face Dominican Republic, France and Korea in Group D while Spain play Argentina, Lithuania and Mali in Group B.
