Fiji will take their place in the competition off the back of their famous gold medal win in the 2015 Pacific Games.
They have experience in their squad with the free-scoring veteran Valerie Nainima having poured in almost 20 points per game almost a decade ago, when Fiji hit hit the court at the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Madrid.
Litava and Mikaelar Whippy will also lend some good experience, while the new generation is best represented by Losilani Katia. She was exceptional at last year's FIBA Oceania U18 Women's Championship, with 17 points and 15 boards per game.
