Inaugural FIBA WASL Sub-Zone leagues season schedule announced

BEIRUT (Lebanon) –FIBA Regional Office Asia has announced today the FIBA West Asia Super League (WASL) Sub-Zone leagues schedule.

The inaugural season of the West Asia Super League (WASL) Sub-Zone Leagues Group Phase will get underway on December 19, and will be played until March 20. Games in the Gulf will be played on Mondays and Tuesdays, while games in West Asia will be played on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The WASL Gulf League Final will start on May 9, while West Asia's Final will be played on 11 May and both will be played in best of three series.

The WASL Final 8 finalists will qualify for FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2023, on the road to FIBA Intercontinental Cup 2023, FIBA's highest club competition.
