With time ticking down to this summer's showpiece event in the capital, excitement is building and after the team put on a show at the recent FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament in China, hopes are high they can return a medal.
The build up to the main event is obviously now key for the host nation and they will firstly congregate on June 6 in Paris before a training camp across June 9-19 in Anglet. After a few days of rest, the players will meet again in La Roche-sur-Yon on June 23 for the second part of the preparation.

This will see them matchup with FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2027 co-hosts Finland in two games at the Vendespace where a full house of 4,000 is able to watch the team on Saturday, June 29 and Monday, July 1.
The team will then meet in Lyon on July 6 for a new training camp that will end with a huge game against Serbia on Friday, July 12 at the LDLC Arena which has a capacity of 12,000. This game is part of a double showdown, with the men's team also playing Serbia on the same day.
Finally, Les Bleues will finish their preparation with a last training camp in Reims from July 16, where they will play their last preparation matches before the Olympics at the 5,500 seat Reims Arena on Friday 19 and Sunday 21 July.

This will be part of a four-team tournament that will also involve, FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2023 champions Belgium, FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 silver medalists China, and Tokyo 2020 Olympic silver medalists Japan.
The game schedule for the preparation tournament in Reims will only be confirmed after the successful conclusion of the draw for the Olympic Basketball Tournaments, which will take place at the FIBA House of Basketball in Mies on March 19.
Once the action is over in Reims, the team will then take up residence in the Lille Olympic Village on Tuesday July 23.
