Foreign mainstay star Igor Zatysev from Ukraine added 17 points on 9-12 field goal shooting. Kentrell Barkley wrapped up a stellar first season in the SBL with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Chiang was the MVP from the previous SBL season while Zatysev was awarded the Best Foreign Player in that same year. However, Taiwan Beer ended up losing in the Finals to the Fubon Braves.

The title is Taiwan Beer’s 5th all-time playing in the SBL. This ties them up with Pauian Archiland for most SBL championships won across the league’s 17 years of existence.
