On Thursday, Nigeria will face reigning champions Angola, before Tunisia take on Egypt, followed Algeria going up against South Africa, before hosts Mali end the day by squaring off against Morocco.
Hammered by Egypt 107-46 in their third game, the Nigerians secured their place in the Last Eight by beating Rwanda 72-68 in their Group A last Game. They will face reigning champions Angola, who have four straight victories so far in the tournament.
In this knockout game, Nigeria will turn to Isiaka Ajadi, who played a pivotal role in the win over Rwanda with a game-high 25 points.
Tunisia will then do battle against 2013 runners-up Egypt, who finished second in group A with a 4 -1 record.
The South Africans will clash with the Algerians in the Quarter-Finals after they edged out Morocco 73-68 in their last game to reach the knockout phase.
As Algeria are not a powerhouse in this tournament, it could be a great chance for South Africa to make history by reaching the Semi-Finals.
Algeria beat Equatorial Guinea 90-48 to clinch their third win of the tournament and are also dreaming of getting to the Last Four.
Meanwhile, Morocco take on the home side Mali in the last game of the day.
On Tuesday night, the battle for the first place in Group A saw Mali get the better of Egypt with a slim 77 -75 win.
The game between two of the best teams in the tournament was well-balanced as Egypt made clear their intentions of winning the group by jumping to a 21-15 first quarter lead.
They were up 42-38 at halftime but the Malians were cutting into their lead and in fact used n 18-9 third quarter to take a 56-51 advantage entering the last quarter - time.
The teams traded baskets late in the game, with Mali getting the last word.
Mali's Lassana Haidara led all scorers with 20 points. His teammate Abdulkarim Coulibaly and Egypt's Hillman Taref Raafat had 17 points apiece.
Morocco, who had only one victory in the tournament, will surely have a tough task.
