AMSTERDAM (Netherlands) - Partizan (SRB) handle tough competition to go perfect on Day 1 of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Amsterdam Masters on October 6.

    THE TEAM

Partizan have yet to make an impact on the World Tour despite having experienced success in the challengers. They made their presence felt in Group Phase in Amsterdam though through two marquee results.

They faced a clinical Paris side in their opener, a battle that went down to the wire. Marko Stevanovic was crucial on the defensive end, grabbing boards while deterring shots off the rim. The star of the game was Stefan Milivojevic who put up 8 points, including the Maurice Lacroix buzzer-beating two to seal the game in OT. It was a 18 - 16 result in favor of the Serbian side heading into a humongous game against Ub Huishan NE

The 6-time Masters winner this season just couldn’t get going against Partizan. Stevanovic was immense, picking up 7 points and 10 rebounds. Milivojevic scored a game-high 9 points as Partizan took care of business against Ub with a 15 - 22 victory.

Also going perfect on the day were American sides Miami and perhaps the shock of the day, Princeton who defeated two Giants in Antwerp TOPDesk and Beijing.

    THE PLAYER

Miami’s Jimmer Fredette was the talisman behind their perfect run, putting up 14 points while dropping a Day-high 9 key assists. He also finished with the highest Player Value score of 26.1 as the team have their sights set on back-to-back Masters wins.
